Indexing is the process in which you tell the Google or Yahoo/Bing that you have post which is ready to be offer to user. More easy way of understanding indexing process is that if you think of it like you would think of reading a book. There is an index that tells you where and how you can find different information in that book—by category, chapter, references, etc. This works the same way when it comes to Google. Google crawls every webpage on the Internet to create an index. When someone searches for something, the search engine algorithm goes through its indexes, searching through different categories, keywords, etc., and determines which pages are most relevant to show to that user.

A sitemap works like a map for the search engine bots by listing each page on your website. You can have several different sitemaps that hold different information if you choose, and it’s something that should be updated often so that Google isn’t missing any of your pages.
Once you create an XML sitemap, which you can learn more about here, you should submit it to your Google Webmaster Tools account to help the bots find the website as fast as possible.  Internal Linking

Internal linking helps you to links each page/post of your own site. It will help search engine bots find you. Certain websites which are more popular, are naturally crawled and indexed more than others . If you can earn an inbound link on one of these sites, Google will be exposed to your page much faster than if the bots had to find it on their own. This makes link building key. You have to be natural and relevant, but the sooner you can create a strategy for inbound linking the better.

 Google Webmaster Tools

Besides other reasons, one reason to have a Google Webmaster Tools account  is that Google can index your site. Going along with the last point, what you need to do here is actually take your sitemap and add it to Webmaster Tools.
