How to Add Meta Tags in Your Blog

Adding meta tags you can get get more traffic from search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc. Especially the meta description is the most important one. Meta tags are the tags which describes your site and tells the search engines what your site is all about.  Meta tags allows search engines to index your web pages more accurately. 

We must add two main meta tags to the head section of the template. One is the Meta description which describes your site and another one is Meta Keywords which tells about your site keywords.

Keywords in meta tag attracts people to enter to your blog. But there is some limitations present. It should be well related with your blog content. You have not added more keywords and description in Meta tags. As well as that keywords and description must be at least a certain number of words. 

Blog description is small description about your blog. Your Blog description should be in 155 characters.

How To Add Meta Tags

• Go to Blogger Dashboard in your blogger account.
• Click on the Edit HTML button to extract your blog template.
• Search for <b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/> using Ctrl+F.
• Copy the following code and paste the code below it.

Replace 

• BLOG DESCRIPTION HERE - Replace with your blog description.
• BLOG KEYWORDS HERE - Replace with your blog keyboards.
• BLOG AUTHOR NAME HERE - Replace with your blog author name.

Click on the Save template button. 

Now you are done. It will help you to get good rank in google and other search engines.
